The former Liverpool and England defender says that Manchester United needs a better coach than Solskjaer, who cannot be compared to Klopp, Guardiola and Tuchel, he said.
Former Liverpool and England defender Jamie Carragher said Manchester United need a better coach and his coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer cannot be compared to the trio of Liverpool coach Jurgen Klopp, Manchester City coach Pep Guardiola and Chelsea coach Thomas Tuchel.
United suffered a humiliating 5-0 defeat against Liverpool at Old Trafford on Sunday, including a hat-trick for Egyptian striker Mohamed Salah, to fall to seventh place and extend his unbeaten record of league victories to four games.
Carragher added: "I think Ole did a good job but when you compare him to Klopp, Tuchel and Pep, Manchester United need a better coach. I don't tend to call for a coach to be fired but I wouldn't do anyone a disservice if I said Fred isn't good enough or Scott McTominay isn't good enough. Enough. I wouldn't feel a problem if I said Solskjaer was not good enough."
United have scored only one point out of the last 12 possible points and are eight points behind leaders Chelsea after only nine games of the season
