The Egyptian Mohamed Salah refused to provide a clear answer about his future with Liverpool, as rumors persisted that he might leave the Reds at the end of the season.
And the British newspapers reported new statements by Salah to Sky Sports, especially that he will become free at the end of the 2022-2023 season.
Salah said: “If you ask me, I would like to stay until the last day of my career as a footballer, but I cannot say much about that, it is not up to me,” stressing that the issue of his continuation is related to what the club wants.
He continued: "At the moment, I cannot see myself playing against Liverpool at all, this will make me sad, it is difficult, I do not want to talk about it, but it will make me really sad," stressing that he does not know what will happen in the future.
Salah starred remarkably this season by scoring 12 goals in 11 games, which made many analysts put his name to win the Golden Ball award.
Salah received the required support from German coach Jurgen Klopp, who considered the Egyptian star the best player in the world at the present time.
Mohamed Salah is the top scorer in the Premier League with seven goals, accompanied by Jimmy Vardy, and he used to compete for the top scorer title in recent years.
Salah was unable to highlight his talent with the Egyptian national team in the African qualifiers for the World Cup, but his country leads Group F, four points behind Libya.
